- A genuine red night mode — the whole interface, not just the sky chart, and dimmable well below the phone's normal minimum.
- Full offline operation. Dark sites and mobile coverage rarely coincide. Download the catalogue before you leave.
- An adjustable magnitude limit. An app showing a hundred thousand stars looks nothing like the sky you are standing under and makes matching patterns harder, not easier.
- No advertising over the chart. A full-screen video ad at a dark site is a sixty-second penalty in restored night vision.

The Augmented Reality Problem
